The cove on the waterfront side of the property is breathtaking, while the heavily wooded yard provides nice shade on a summer day and lots of flowers for picking.

A Great View
Situated on a quiet cove just off the Chesapeake Bay, Runaway has a beautiful view. You can catch a glimpse of the Chesapeake Bay through the trees on the far side of the cove. Eagles, herons, ducks, Egrets and more call this serene area home. This photo was taken from the pier, looking West, on a beautiful blue-sky day.

Out and About
A nice walk under a canopy of trees, picking flowers from the many plantings in the heavily wooded yard, or a trip to the Exmore Diner are favorites...(along with kayaking, fishing, crabbing, reading a good book, and much more.
